Hey guys. I know that it has been mentioned before but for the DS to record in high quality what would you recommend. I see these clear videos on youtube and well as different background setups like what KillerNacho uses and I have no idea how it is done. Please HELP.

I really want to know to, cause once hgss comes out I will be able to trade and do ds battles Smile
I always thought cause they use hgss in the videos and when there are status problems are in japanese, that they use emulators, but I don't understand how it would go on wifi then, it is very confusing, and i would love to know

Thats the problem I am seeing too. I thought I saw in one video that It was emulators. unless they maybe save the battle video somehow and use a emulator I don't get it.

well i might be late but most battlers use an r4 and record the screen with that .They then put it on the computer and upload it or they upload a battle to the gts then with an r4 then use the save file on an emulator and record the screen.Thats what i think happens but i am not 100% sure

well an r4 is a device that can play a variety of ds games but im not sure if its legal. It can e found at online stores and range from $70+.In my area(toronto) there is a mall called pacific mall and there they have r4s but again that store isnt the most legal place in town.

Thanks for the warning about legality Ex Lol. It sounds to me that an emulator is being used and I guess if I want the best quality and have some extra backgrounds that show the pokemon like killer nacho does (which I think is awesome), I would have to probably figure out how to use an emulator and some kind of save feature.

ive found that using a magnifying glass of some kind corrects the blurriness on my camera when i record on the DS. i use an old gameboy magnifying screen for mine but anything should work the same way.

im not sure if this is resolved yet or not though :/ if it is, im sorry

Most topics never are lol. But thanks for the advice. I will try to see if my webcam can focus better. If not a magnifying glass. Laughing
