| This is the team I made from various popular Chatbox topics. If you have any suggestions for movesets or alternate pokemon that are somehow related to the chatbox, I would be glad for the input. - Quote :
- IAmUber (Smeargle) (F) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Own Tempo EVs: 252HP, 252Spd, 4SpDef Jolly nature (+Spd,-SpAtt) - Transform - Baton Pass - Encore - Block
Arctic-Uno (Articuno) @ Leftovers Ability: Pressure EVs: 252HP, 64Def, 128SpAtt, 64SpDef Modest nature (+SpAtt,-Att) Roost Tailwind Ice Beam HP Grass
CmndrsFail (Dusknoir) (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Pressure EVs: 172Att, 168Def, 168SpDef Adamant nature (+,-) Shadow Punch Ice Punch Substitute Focus Punch
RadioActiv (Gastrodon) (M) @ Sitrus Berry Ability: Sticky Hold EVs: 252HP, 128Def, 128SpDef Calm nature (+SpDef,-Att) Recover Toxic/Icy Wind Block Rain Dance
Narwhal (Dewgong) (M) @ Ability: Hydration EVs: 252Att, 128Def, 128SpDef Impish nature (+Def,-SpAtt) Rest Perish Song Ice Shard Waterfall
Pik-atch-u (Pikachu) (M) @ Light Ball Ability: Static EVs: 4HP, 252Spd, 252SpAtt Modest nature (+SpAtt,-Att) Thunder Fake Out Grass Knot Agility Smeargle was chosen because it was a fairly heated discussion topic, whether smeargle should be an uber because he can learn almost every move. I chose Pikachu and Articuno because of the 2 jokes mentioned in the chatbox that I remember. Dusknoir is on the team in honor of Cmndrkool's failure all physical Dusknoir. Gastrodon is on this team because of darkiway always mentioning and threatening with his giant radioactive Gastrodon that will become a world ruler(according to him). As for Dewgong, it is in on the team because of Mercer98's narwhal obsession and we both decided that Dewgong was the closest to a narwhal.

| lol nice team Mamba. The pokemon used are great but for a suggestion with Smeargle I would probably put Ev in HP since he has transform and gains the same stats except for HP. Since Dusknoir has low Hp some Ev's in Hp would also help I think.I am not really good at movesets since I love originality. Great team. | |

Thanks for the suggestions. I forgot about the HP not changing, I updated it so Smeargle now has max HP EV's. As for Dusknoir, I don't really care about HP EV's because I don't have any healing items on him. | |

- IAmUber (Smeargle) (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Own Tempo EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 Spe Jolly nature (+Spd,-SpAtt) - Transform - Baton Pass - Encore - Block
As for the EVs, maxing Speed is your first priority; you need to be able to outspeed non-Choice Scarf Pokémon after your +1 Speed boost. The next step is to maximize HP while still having it divisible by four. The rest of the EVs can be dumped into wherever you want them to be. But make sure to invest some in Defense to ensure that Smeargle can survive weaker physical assaults, like two Bullet Punches from a lead Metagross.
Arctic-Uno (Articuno) @ Life Orb Ability: Pressure EVs: 152 HP / 252 SpA / 104 Spe Modest nature (+SpAtt,-Att) Roost Tailwind Ice Beam HP Grass
Firstly, those EVs were ridiculous. The given EVs allow Articuno to reach a Speed of 464 after a Tailwind, outpacing Timid Scarf Rotom, and pretty much the rest of the UU metagame. Even with Articuno firing on all cylinders with a Modest nature and a Life Orb to boot, the typical special walls of UU such as Hypno, Grumpig and Clefable can still soak up Articuno's attacks, and thus should be weakened before attempting a full-fledged sweep. The set lacks the power needed to compete in the OU environment, so don't try using it there.
CmndrsFail (Dusknoir) (M) @ Leftovers / Choice Band Ability: Pressure EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Adamant nature (+,-) -Substitute -Focus Punch -Sucker Punch / Shadow Sneak -Fire Punch / Ice Punch
Fire Punch versus Ice Punch depends on whether you want to beat Heracross, or take on Salamence. Since Heracross almost will never hesitate to switch in, Substitute + Fire Punch can be used to severely cripple it. Substitute will force the frequently Choiced Heracross to reveal its hand, and Fire Punch will nearly OHKO it. On the other hand, Ice Punch OHKOs min/min Salamence even without Stealth Rock, and provides better type coverage alongside Focus Punch. The choice between Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak is difficult. Despite Dusknoir not getting STAB on Sucker Punch, it is still more powerful than his Shadow Sneak. The added power allows you to OHKO opponents like Gengar and Alakazam, something Shadow Sneak will not do. However, Sucker Punch will fail if your opponent chooses not to attack you and has a mere maximum 8 PP. ThunderPunch can be considered as well, if you fear Gyarados setting up on you. Pain Split is also an option if you want to attempt to stall your opponent and can be useful to recover HP lost from creating your Substitutes. 323 Attack is needed to always OHKO 4 HP / 252 Def Blissey with Focus Punch and Stealth Rock, always 2HKO 252 HP / 216 Def Impish Forretress with Fire Punch and Stealth Rock, and always OHKO 4 HP / 0 Def Alakazam with Sucker Punch. It finally allows you to take on Salamence, OHKOing 216 HP / 252 Def Bold Salamence with Ice Punch followed by Shadow Sneak, provided Stealth Rock is in play, before it gets the chance to Roost. This Dusknoir has 328 Attack, but EVs are better invested in Attack than Defense, as this Dusknoir wants to deal as much damage as possible with Focus Punch. One could run 84 Speed EVs to outrun minimum Speed Blissey if you desire to put up a Substitute before Blissey can use Toxic against Dusknoir, hampering her ability to sweep from behind a substitute.
RadioActiv (Gastrodon) (M) @ Sitrus Berry Ability: Sticky Hold EVs: 252HP, 128Def, 128SpDef Calm nature (+SpDef,-Att) Recover Toxic Block Rain Dance
Narwhal (Dewgong) (M) @ Ability: Hydration EVs: 252Att, 128Def, 128SpDef Impish nature (+Def,-SpAtt) Rest Perish Song Ice Shard Waterfall
Pik-atch-u (Pikachu) (M) @ Light Ball Ability: Static EVs: 4 Def, 252Spd, 252SpAtt Timid Thunder Fake Out / Substitute Surf Hidden Power Ice
Pikachu can use Surf, and with the 20th Anniversary Nintendo Power event that was held back on Sept. 13, 2008, we are no longer limited to legitimate crappy Hardy natured Surfing Pikachu from Pokémon Battle Revolution. Also it gets boost from the rain and just hits harder. Pikachu's Special Attack reaches very high levels, so an all-out sweeper set is viable. This set focuses more on type coverage than causing switches, and gets good coverage on most threats in UU and NU alike. Thunder will be your main sweeping move, with Hidden Power and Surf used for coverage on Grass-, Rock-, and Ground-types. Substitute is vital to provide Pikachu with a safety blanket from priority attacks, attacks in general, and Dugtrio, and you should attempt to keep a Substitute up while sweeping.
