For the Gym leaders, im planning a team, if no one takes poison, ill take it!
Crobat@Black Sludge
Inner Focus
Jolly
168 HP/164 Atk/176 Spd
- Aerial Ace
- U-Turn
- Taunt
- Hypnosis
Immune to Fake Out and annoys the crap out of leads. Hypnosis and Taunt screw up so many leads; U-Turn lets her scout switches; Aerial Ace is STAB. Spd EVs allow it to outpace +Spd base 120s; HP EVs give it a Leftovers number +1, which allows it to switch in on Stealth Rock five times; Atk EVs are filler.
Weezing@Black Sludge
Levitate
Bold
200 HP/252 Def/58 SAtk
- Thunderbolt
- Fire Blast
- Pain Split
- Will-o-Wisp
My physical wall of the team; Weezing is a really good Pokémon that I don't see much often these days. I have Will-o-Wisp to soften any physicals even more; Thunderbolt and Fire Blast means this guy is not a pushover; Pain Spilt since that's his most reliable healing move. 200 HP EVs reach a Leftovers number + 1, with the extra on SAtk.
Gengar@Choice Scarf
Levitate
Timid/Modest
4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spd
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thuderbolt
- Trick
Standard Gengar is standard; I may change moveset though.
Toxicroak@Black Sludge
Dry Skin
Adamant
120 HP/228 Atk/160 Spd
- Focus Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
Dry Skin lets him switch into the common Surf, Waterfall, and Hydro Pump. Main strategy for this guy is to get a Sub up on the switch, SD and Sucker/Focus Punch the new Pokémon. HP EVs hit another Leftovers number +1, which lets Toxicroak use Substitute five times; Spd EVs let it out pace the fastest Tyrannitar and any base 100s trying to outspeed him by one point; Atk EVs is obvious on a Swords Dance set.
Nidoking@Life Orb
Poison Point
Naughty
240 Atk/110 SAtk/160 Spd
- Earthquake
- Megahorn
- Ice Beam
- Fire Blast
With enough prediction, this guy can rip apart teams in blink of an eye. Like his name states, his moveset pairs both physical and special attacks to create a dangerous combination: Earthquake is STAB and overall a great move; Megahorn rips apart most Levitators, like Cresselia, Mesprit, Uxie, and Latias; Ice Beam hits the bulky Grounds like Gliscor and Hippowdown for their weaker stat; Fire Blast roasts any Skarmory, Forretress, and Bronzong trying to wall Nidoking. Spd EVs are the same as Toxicroak; enough Atk EVs are added to hit another nature boost number; rest goes to SAtk for better mixed potential.
I know there are only 5, but i'm thinking of adding/replacing the last one(s) still. my last ideas are:
Roserade@Damp Rock
Timid
Poison Point
6 HP
252 Spe
252 Sp. Atk
Rain Dance
Weather Ball
Sleep Powder
Grass Knot/Magical Leaf
A Weather Baller, I either SP on the switchin or RD. I have Rain Dance because of toxicroak.
Toxicroak@Life Orb
Adamant
Dry Skin
4 HP
252 Atk
252 Spe
Swords Dance
Cross Chop/Drain Punch
Sucker Punch
Stone Edge
Mainly used lategame as a sweeper, the Life Orb damage is offset by the Rain Dance that is usually still up. Sucker Punch is for the Psychics that are Toxicroak's bane.
Drapiopn@expert belt
adamant
shell armor
252 attack
252 speed
4 HP
Crunch
Ice Fang
Earthquake
Brick Break
Pretty standard. noting much to say about this pokemon.
Muk (i dont have a good idea about Muk. It would be perfect defence! If you have a great idea for Muk, please share!)
Any comments and suggestions are welcome. If you have an idea on what i should change, swap or get rid of, please comment!
