| Now to how the trainers are chosen and a few more details.
Trainers: For the initial set-up I propose the following. All trainers applying for the Colosseum must enter into a knock-out battle. The first loser would be trainer number 1 in the Colosseum, the next loser would be trainer number2, and so forth. The final two would duke it out with the loser becoming the semi-finalist trainer and the winner would be the Final trainer. Of course the trainers must use the teams they would be using in the actual Colosseum.
All Colosseums would have the Master Ball Rules in effect for every battle. I promise not to start preaching my philophosy, but it would eliminate most of the clauses that most people use. I'll type them up for the Colosseum rules should we agree on them.
Recording: If possible as many trainers as possible should try to record and post battles (it's good advertisement). Also I would like to see this one if we can work it in. For PBR recordings all battles for a particular Colosseum should be recorded in a certain Colosseum. For instance, all Unevolved PBR battles would take place in the Sunny Park Colosseum. It's just me but for posting purposes I'd personally like to see some continuity. This of course would be irrelevant for DS battles.
And for the future I've got another idea based on Mt. Battle from the GameCube games, where trainers must ascend through various level of trainers to reach a Master Battler, but that's for later.
I also recommend that we build up each Colosseum one at a time, get it up and running before we move on to the next one as opposed to having to many irons in the fire. This way we do it right the first time and avoid having to go back and rehaul a Colosseum. Remember first impressions are lasting impressions.
I think that does it for now, let's get that input going so we can begin to lay the foundation for what I believe will be a great launching point for our Forums. Thanks for your patience. Let's have some fun.

| Well after reading over all of your rather lengthy but great ideas, I am in full support of this. It seems like a great idea that not many other forums (if any) have done before. I agree with your rules as well, especially regarding clauses (Although I am still quite opposed to the use of Dark Void, just an opinion) But overall the rules make sense. Yes Pokemon like Scyther, Gligar, Onyx and other unevolved Pokemon who recieved an evolution in another generation should not be allowed in the UnEvolved class.
I think this idea could bring not only attention to the forums but it could also create a really fun battle environment for the members. There are many possibilities for a Colosseum and I think if we start small and have lots of member involvement, we can really make something great out of this thing.
Thanks for submitting this idea, Don. I believe it has HUGE potential!

| Agreed Storm and thanks so much. Don't even get me started on Dark Void. I said I would quit swearing. When we set up the rules I'll get to that Mother $#@&*#, Oops. See what I mean!!! Lol. | |

| i like the idea don! The only thing i question is the NFE tournament. Could the NFEs be a baby pokemon leauge only Like Charmander and Rhyhorn? We all would know that people would bring in things like Charmeleon and Rhydon for sure because they are NFE! I think making it baby pokemon only would be more fun! | |

| Well I don't know about that Cmndr I think that for the NFE the structure could maybe be put in place to allow maybe the final trainer or even semi final trainer to have NFE's like Rhydon, making it appear to become more difficult as you progress like in the games where the final trainer has more difficult pokemon. | |

| Oh no guys maybe I didn't explain it right. The Unevolved Colosseum is for baby Pokemon only. NFE would be a seperate Colosseum. So in that scenario why would you bring in a Charmander when you have Charmeleon available to you. | |
