What is it going to be?

Alright so now, once again, the forums have ceased to be active. This is exactly what I feared would happen and sure enough it did. At this point I am ready to shut down the forums once again, this time for good. I am not really involved with the forums much anymore as there hasn't been much of a reason to do so. For those who may have recently joined, I do apologize that you walked into the forums during this time. So I would like feedback from as many members as possible. Do you guys really want these forums to thrive again? Or is this all done for good? I feel that the time has come to bring things to a close.

I vote close it down. No need to keep it open if nobody comes anymore.

This is the only forum I'm on, and I love it. But if no one is signing on, and you think it best, I'll follow my better instinct and say close it...

I agree it is a hard choice, but pokemonLance seems to be the place to go. Unfortunate for us, but oh well.

i no im new but i have an idea maybe we could make an advertising video and post it on all ower youtube's and maybe more people will come

That is a good suggestion but sadly we have done that in the past. It worked for a while but it seems like we just can't get things going on here. We are recently in the process of organizing a tournament to get things running again but that also seemed to fizzle out.

maybe we could ask friend from an auter forum to post the ad too maybe it might help

Its sad to hear suggestions of this, I would still like to give it sometime to work on bringing it back to life, but if you guys decided to close down I will support this decision.

We tried Yoda, but everybody that wanted that just started coming less often so we made no progress.

But he hasn't even been here in almost a month. He started the colosseum, but not being here has killed this place again. I know people are going to be sad, but what is the point of keeping something that nobody uses anymore except to talk to me?

I hereby recede my vote to close the forum, in hope of my new tournament giving us a jump start.

Well guys I still am online as much as I can be because I still love this forum and want it to thrive. I even volunteered to start the gyms here a while ago but no one got back to me and I was later told to wait. without any kind of tournament or gyms advertising will be few which is why I really hope this tourney gets the activity up once again.

Like Mamba said, there doesn't seem to be a point in trying to bring this back. I know there are memories here and a lot of new friendships were started but it seems like everyone has just outgrown the forum. It acted as a stepping stone for people to move on and start forums of their own and those forums seem to be doing fairly well. We were about to have a tournament which Don was organizing but I haven't seen him in about a month so it doesn't seem like that is happening at this point. I am also feeling that it might be time for me to move with other aspects of my life. This was fun for a while but I probably won't be running this forum at all next year. We have hit a dead end and have a very very slim chance of recovery. I am not even sure I will be on youtube much longer. Many of you have seen my upload routine lately, I post a few videos and then disappear for weeks and maybe months at a time. The point is, these forums are nearly extinct and trying to bring them back would be about as easy as bringing back the dinosaurs.

Sigh...so this time, its really good bye huh. I'll miss this place, you guys too.

Ok, so a few new members have joined recently and it might help bring activity back to the forums so hope is not yet lost.
